Known for her inspirational healing art,
Gina Livingston Murray shares her passion
for the arts with all who know her.
Self taught and ever experimental, she is
constantly coming up with exciting
new techniques that encourage self expression.
Gina intuitively creates images with spiritual
and emotional meaning, conveying a message
of hope, love and the celebration of life.
Her compassionate nature shines
in all that she does and her visionary works
touch and nourish the soul.
Artist Statement:
"Painting has become a healing journey for me,
a way to express the events of this life
in a way that could never be explained
with words.
God gifts us
days full of happiness,
laughter and sorrow.
It is all a part of the plan,
and makes us who we are.
Remember to dream,
rejoice,
and live in the moment.
Learn from the past,
and look toward the future
with faith.
Be still enough to notice
the little miracles
that really do occur
each and every day,
and never forget
to be thankful
when they happen!
Seek to find a creative outlet.
Let go of your fears
and let your intuition guide you.
The arts give us an opportunity
to discover so much about ourselves,
and helps us to relate to others
on a deeper level,
in a language
we can all understand!"
Gina was born in 1963 on Long Island New York and grew up in Southern California. As an only child, Gina's imagination soared
and was expressed through dance, music, poetry, visual arts
and a love of the outdoors.
Today her enthusiasm for the arts is shared with
her husband and soul mate, Michael Murray.
They share a studio together in Raleigh, North Carolina.
